“In my opinion, this Victorian building provides good value, especially for single travelers, with a generous breakfast and clean, comfortable rooms; the family suite accommodates up to five guests. Though some may find the fourth-floor rooms challenging due to the absence of a lift, the hotel's proximity to Plymouth Hoe and The Pavilions offsets this. I would recommend this hotel for its blend of historic charm and convenient access to city attractions.”

The room was very close to the center and the aquarium. I found the shower very nice and clean. I was glad to find a luggage storage facility.
The television in the room was a small screen.

adequate stay with issues

breakfast absencetired furniture
My stay wasn't terrible, but it certainly wasn't perfect. the breakfast situation was a complete SHAMBLES. I booked bed and breakfast, but there wasn't any breakfast being served. the room itself was also underwhelming. The furniture looked tired and could use some attention.

decent stay

helpful staffnon-slip matbasic roomexpensive parking
the staff were very friendly. i appreciated them storing my shopping from the farmer's market in their fridge. my bathroom came with a really nice shower gel, shampoo & conditioner! i was provided with a non-slip mat!
My single room was really quite basic. So it's not suited to the physically infirm if your room is near the top. v limited parking is available on a first come basis and metered street parking is expensive.
